7.5' map:  A standard topographic map quadrangle size that covers 7.5 minutes of latitude and 7.5 minutes of longitude.  For example, the 7.5' map for Crow Butte, Nebraska covers from 103° 15' to 103° 22' 30" west, and 42° 37' 30" to 42° 45' north (about 8.6 x 6.4 miles or 55 square miles at that latitude).  USGS quadrangle maps are common in both 15' and 7.5' sizes.  (See also: minute.)
