Glossary for Geospatial Science

raster or raster object:  A single, related, two dimensionally grouped set of numbers of a single data type.  Each number represents the value of some parameter.  Its position in the group represents its relative position to the other values.  A raster object is a raster that is stored in an RVC project file.
